Patriots have a matchup later today @ 4:30 pm at the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and it's gonna be one hell of a matchup. Let's get into it below....

Cam Newton who was GOD AWFUL in last week's win against the Zona Cardinals and my fantasy QB Kyler Murray & WR Hopkins (who did nothing and I got smoked by my boy Crookes); is now matched up against Justin Herbert who has stepped in and played his ass off this year! The kid is throwing the ball around it's the school yard.

Newton statistically had one of the worst performances of his career. Per Pro-football-reference.com, he went 9/18 84 yards and TWO fucking interceptions. I wanted to drive him to the airport myself later that night!

However, he did have a decent drive and great run out of bounds on the winning drive. It helped that Simmon's blew him up late for a 15 yard penalty.

Do I have faith the offense will click this week? Short answer NO, but Let's fucking hope... I do think the biggest key to victory is to run the ball well with Harris and Newton running 10-12 times, sprinkling in some down field throws to Byrd (7 catches 78yd 1 td?!)

It's going to be a good matchup for this defense who has been streaky of late, but with Gilmore looking like his old "Gilly Lock" self almost shutting Hopkins down and Adam Bulter having a career day. I believe they are ready to shut down the rookie.

A little known fact about the Patriots against rookie QB's; they have a 25-5 record (saw tweet by @ZachCoxNesn). Only losing to Rothlisburger, Russell Wilson (okay, understandable), but also Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith and Colt Mccoy (Gross).

This Patriots team has been annoying because they can beat semi-good teams in the Ravens, Cardinals, and play hard defensively against the Chiefs. Then, they go out and lose to the Broncos who scored 6 fucking field goals, lose to the Texans, and fumble the ball at the 10 or 15 against the Bills when a win was within reach.

Let's see what this Patriots team is made up of against the 3-8 Chargers! Patriots need to win out or possibly lose 1 more game(with major help) to get in the Playoffs. In the last 20 years, the Patriots haven't been to the playoffs without winning the division. WILD
